  James 'n' Dave are by far my favourite of my cartoon characters,
  which is probably obvoious by the amount of cartoons they have
  in relation to the others! James 'n' Dave have changed a lot since
  they were first concieved shortly after I discovered alt.ascii-art
  two years ago...


  James 'n' Dave were based on the characters from my first cartoon:

   The first James 'n' Dave toon was set on a train, and boy did they
  look odd back then!

   I must say a quick thanks to Jonothan Oglesbee, or JRO, who was
  the person who first got me interested in ASCII Cartooning. If
  it wasn't for him, you wouldn't have to put up with Dave's
  stupidity, Lisa's Ignorance and the bARMY's Barmyness!
   Thanks JRO, and also thanks to Al T., maker of 'The Vex Files'
  who also offered me early inspiration.



 I haven't had a lot of time or humour recently, so haven't been able to
bash out any new toons - I'm planning to repost some of my old'ns for all
these new people who've arrived recently unless anyone strongy objects.
 I'll leave the new toons to JRO for now -- his are always funnier than mine
anyways.
