ascii characters

Hello....This may not be the right group to post to, but I couldnt find any
other. Does anybody in this group also like doing things with the extended
character set? Like the little characters you can get when you press "alt"
and number combinations on the number pad. Like "alt 278" will give you a
small shaded box. I have used these to make some neat menu screen for DOS. I
was hoping to find people with similar interests to get some more ideas.

Problem is that these vary a bit more - e.g. between Dos and Windows (although
you can get some windows fonts that do it the dos way). Possibly this could come
under a more general topic "unicode art"?

Dude, go look for ANSI art groups :) They use those extended
characters plus colour. The ANSI art scene is still quite active.
