My style of "solid" uses a slightly different set of characters. I have put both styles side by side for comparison. I don't really know why, but I much prefer the one on the right. > _____ _____ > _,ooHHHHHHHHHoo._ _,ad888888888ba,_ > ,dHHHP^^"""""^^?HHHb. ,d888P"""""""""Y888b, > ,dHHP' `?HHb. ,d88P" "Y88b, > dHHP' _..-----.._ `?HHb d88P' _..-----.._ `Y88b > |HHP ,-' `-. ?HH| d88P ,-' `-. Now, it's second nature. I don't even have to think any more! :-)

The one one the right has a better border, but the central bit is much better
on the one on the left, try amalgamating them?...

Hello everybody... I have seen a lot of ascii art, and am pretty impressed. How do you get started doing it? I have tried it and only come out with some things that can be (kindly) described as abstract ascii art :( Anyway, I just want to say that I am really amazed with some of the things I have seen posted. Also, does anyone have or know where I could get a ascii unicorn? Thanks! Steph

When I switched the "|" for an "I" I did with a global search and replace and never even noticed that the center piece had been changed. I was dedicating all my attention to the outside part!
