Dear Parents and Teachers,
I would like to personally inform you of a new organization on
Long Island, NY focusing on the education of our children.
LongIslandKids.Org is a 'not for profit' organization dedicated
to the children of Long Island. The World Wide Web site:
(http://www.longislandkids.org) will allow teachers and parents
to help students achieve their academic goals by working together
through the internet. Currently the site contains a variety of
fun educational activities for grade school students, teachers,
and parents.
Even if you don't live on Long Island, check out our homework
helper, pen pals, and forums.. they're all free to use!! and
they're alot of fun! There is also a brand new FREE KIDS SOFTWARE
section, where we have taken valuable shareware for children and
made it into a well organized collection which is easily downloaded.
Please take a moment to check out the site, we welcome your
comments and suggestions.
