One thing that you might want to take into consideration when creating the ASCII art is the tilde ~ characters. In some fixed-width fonts it appears at the top of the space. In other fixed-width fonts, it appears in the center of the space-- similar to the hyphen - So this pic, when viewed in the first kind of fixed-width font, looks perfect. And when viewed in the second kind of fixed-width font, the poor duckie has lost the top of its head. Do I make sense? It is a wonderful pic... too bad we can't guarantee that all people will see the tilde at the top part of the space... As an aside, I usually avoid using that character just for that reason... unless it really doesn't make a difference in positioning.. such as using it for texture... -joan -- _ _.-' ) (_ .
