Doesnt look it. If what you typed lined up, its definately not correct. These
should line up:

llllllll|
AAAAAAAA|

Change the font to Lucida Console, Courier, or something similar. There's some
info in the alt.ascii-art FAQ about how to do it in certain newsreaders.

Ouch.  Here is my favorit checker:

I use it for messurements to make sure that works are small enough to
fit the 7x rule.

Here's a paraphrase of something I found around here many moons ago:

The following two lines tell you which kind of font you're using. The arrow
ends up in a different place for different font types, and is right most of
the time:

You are using a [Proportional] [Monospaced] font
                                  --^--

ASCII-Art is best viewed (and created) in Monospaced. :)
