Logo needed-help the artistically challenged?

My group is currently putting together a small online newsletter, and I'd love
to have some kind of an eye-catching logo spread across the top...however, I
have no artistic skill at all. I also can't get GIFSCII to work without
crashing. I HAVE tried.
I'd love to have a picture of books, records, newspapers, globes, maps, movie
reels, etc (any kind of media thing) that would look good as a banner across
the top of this newsletter, which should be 80 chars wide. Does anyone have
such a sketch? Would any kind soul be interested in creating one?
I thank you in advance for any help you might care to offer.
