Your two intrepid reporters were pursuing more truth on the "Other"
"what is it," when walking by an Army Cadet Academy, we overheard a
funny popping sound. At that instant our trusty ASCII- polaroid
snapped this picture.

We saw what looked like a sargeant throwing his hat on the ground...
he shouted:

"DAMMIT, Clarence....how many times do I have to tell you,
          the ball F O L L O W S the damned powder....FOLLOWS, you
          FOOL....

Hope that helps in the quest for truth...

Sincerely.

Looks like an oscilloscope on a cart with a probe hanging down. In fact,
it probably is a Tek scope from its shape factor.

[and many more ascii-art reader guesses...all wrong!!]

Hasn't _anyone_ been watching the TV News?!?! This is an aerial
view of O.J. Simpson's house! There's the front gate with the
tree, the walkway, TV cameras, and a body crawling out of the
side entrance. (Jeeze! It's on every channel, in La-La Land..)

                 on a 1978 Disney TV special ;)
