Alt vs. Rec

I agree that when rec is made, that alt won't fall by the wayside
necessarily, but one thing that does bother me about the whole bit is that
I sometimes don't have time to pour through all the archives looking for
that certain picture.  I draw a lot of my own art, but sometimes I just
can't find what I'm looking for, and posting to the group with a request
and getting a copy of the FAQ or where to get the FAQ just doesn't "do it"
for me.  I know where it is and how to use it, but if I can't find
something or I haven't seen it in there.... that's my only problem with it.
I can see Scarecrow's obvious dedication to ascii art and think he would
make a good moderator....
