One way is take a drawing program which has stars, make it a bitmap that many pixels square and (if you haven't got a converter) manually copy these from a zoomed-in view to corresponding characters in a text edit window. Another, if I had something like basic, is to take a line of 50 blanks and put stars in it for [a] the steeply descending lines, [b] the horizonntal bar if you're on the, and [c] the less-steep lines once they've started. They you've got something which can be clipboarded or directed into a file and messed with. Either way, you'll have to fingale in a multiplier because charaacters don't look like 1x1 squares, they're nearer 1.5x1 HTH --Regards, Woof Woof, glug glug-- X E M U * who drowned judge Swearinger's dog? s p 4 \ |\ answers on alt.religion.scientology! /~~~~~~~ @----,+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ -;'^';,_,-;^; : : : :http://www.demon.net/castle/x/clam/index.html HOW TO GET N.O.T.s----http://www.icon.fi/~marina/sherilyn/

A circled star means nothing to me: at first I didn't even recognise the significance of it being upside down. How you judge what was done depends on whether the person posting it knew exactly how it would be recieved and meant to be offensive, or whether they just made a mistake. --Regards, Woof Woof, Glug Glug-- X E M U * Who Drowned theJUDGe's Dog ? s p 4 \ |\ answers on (alt.religion.scientology! /~~~~~~~ @----, and on page (/x/clam/faq/woofglug.html -;'^';,_,-;^; : : : :http://www.demon.net/castle/x/clam/index.html

OK, I'll admit that she did not specify originally wether she wanted an
upright or averse pentagram, and whereas I do not agree that an averse
pentagram symbolizes "evil" other that it signifies man at the mercy of
the elements, YOUR post is completely out of order here. One must wonder
how much effort you put into looking for people deserving of your "award".
You *obviously* know nothing about the subject of pentagrams and what
they might mean to other people. True enough it wasn't called for, for
her to take offense and I am not defending that, but neither was your
petty post called for either. Let's just take this one step further and
assume that my flame of your flame of a flame is equally uncalled for.
So what! It's fun to speak our minds... So let's just take it as read
that we are all going to have these differences of opinion and *try* to
get along... Cos no ONE is more right or wrong than anyone else, just
different.
To you I give my "Lame Flame" of the week award. Enjoy! Tell all your
friends!
BTW- To the fine person who flipped the averse pentagram, EXCELLENT thinking!
The net needs more problem solving ability like this... *grin*
