Shouldn't this have been posted in a binaries group? Thanks for a piece of
crap, not everyone is using a PC you know! Do you want to pay my phone bill?
no, I suspect you don't and my sysop (runs darkside bbs) has to download all of
the messages, which cost him and me money.

Lighten up Edward, not everyone is almighty powerful like you! Remember what
it's like to be new? True, newbies should lurk a long time before posting, but
with the flood of new people to the web every day, not everyone knows. Why not
gently encourage newcomers, instead of making everyone feel like shit?

:(

Why? It is about ascii art... (and the other groups on that subject all
consist of 99% garbage anyway...) What could be argued here is that it
is one of the most common questions here and the correct answer to this
guy would be "READ THE FAQ before asking questions like that!".

So? What's wrong with using a PC? Lots of people do. I don't happen to
be one of them myself but I don't go around swearing at those who are.

And mine just had to download a load of abusive shit from you...

It is on-topic for this newsgroup and hopefully made _this_ post a
little bit _less_ offensive to the majority of readers of alt.ascii-art.
Have a nice day and try to understand that even though not everybody is
a unix user they deserve to live and breathe too. (and spend your
aggressive energy on the real spam instead, such as "cum and see the
biggest sex site on the net" or "$$$ get very very RICH today!!!
$$$"...)

Hmmm... you are not the only one.... such things should be posted as
links to places where those interested can go and fetch them if they
want to...

That is definitely the impression that I got too. I think he was
possibly replying to the wrong post because what I saw was definitely a
typical newbie question that got answered with nothing but abuse...

I agree, even though sometimes that means telling them to "read the
f*****g FAQ!!!"... (the question "why don't those pictures look good in
my mail?" does really get on one's nerves sometimes...)
