ICQ uses proportional fonts. In other words, it don't work too good. :)

They will only work on Wintel 95 machines with Arial and the exact
settings that the creator had. ICQ ASCII isn't a really great idea.

Sounds like ICQ and AOL uses the same proportional
font.. perhaps they ought to get together...
Mot...@aol.com has a mailing list of AOL's "macros"-
if anyone is interested... these are all in ARIAL proportional
font and many include non-ASCII, er extended, er, what are
we calling them?  hhehe....
