How did you do this?

Hi there!

	I was wondering how do you 'draw' big and huge ASCII arts such as 
Bugs Bunny, Snoopy, Garfield, etc.. (sample below) which fills the entire 
screen with symbols and/or letters/numbers.  If you tell me that people 
draw that line by line, I won't believe it.  Is there a converter program 
to do this?!  If so, care to tell me about it?!
