So your .sig is ok because it's all against the left margin and your other pictures are ok because they have whitespace in front. (Unfortunately, most of the other artists around here often don't indent their art by at least two spaces :\ ) >>BKNambo -- http://come.to/brocks.place Somebody loves you. (Not necessarily me.)

I still would like to know how did they come up with >this brilliant ideia!! Erk. Okay, just a little clarification... I didn't mean "indention of ascii art," I meant "indention of preformatted text in general...". A word processor (or other text editor/displayer) might choose to be conscientious, and not show spaces as the first character on a line. Why? Mainly (I think) because the designers might consider prespaced text "choppy," or perhaps they are considering what will happen to the text when the window (if such is used) is resized. When two spaces are given, it shows the text reader/editor that 1) The spacing is either an intentional indent (i.e., new paragraph, ...) or 2) Preformatted text, (i.e., diagrams, ascii-art, ...) I seem to remember experiencing this before the days of Outlook Express, but I can't remember exactly when (I *have* had a computer since I was five [or so], and all.. that's a long time)... >>BKNambo -- http://come.to/brocks.place Somebody loves you. I had no idea that OE took such liberties... Are you suggesting that us people who make the ASCII art ought to indent each line by at least two spaces? I don't like to have pics riding the left margin... I've always tried to indent them at least one space... I guess I could make an effort and get them in two...
