Hola! The Art & culture association Mestizo, within its scheduled activities for 1997, celebrates the event "Una vuelta al mundo, 24 horas en la red" (Round the World, 24 hours on the net", from next friday 18 at 12:00 (GMT+2) to saturday 19 at 12:00 (GMT+2). Thus, we try to take a glimpse at the complexity and richness of this medium. In this period of time, the same as a complete Earth spin, we are going to make a sort of live actions via Internet. We humildly invite every person interested in art and its use as a tool for personal growth, knowledge and comunication. We ask for mutual knowledge and support to any proposal for promotion and difussion of art and culture mixture. Among other scheduled activities, we announce the I Exposicion Virtual "en la red" 97 (1st. Virtual Art Expo). Any artist can send his or her works in any discipline and any format that we can publish on the web (painting, drawing, photograhy, music, poetry and any other...), which will be published at our website (http://www.distrito.com/mestizo) as long as we celebrate our "24 hours".
