which is equally worthless as a solution to the problem of notation in
3/6 time.

Or maybe not. At least you could *try* to use this in a 3/6 score.
So what if it would look like an old hymnal?

Step By Step:
1) Draw bar lines. Put clef, 3/6 notation symbol.
2) Draw 3 quarter-notes.
3) Write three happy little sixes about the notes.
4) Note that this is correct notation, and creates a measure of 3/6 time.
5) Note three sixes sitting on top, similarity to MicroSoft symbol,
acquire facial tick, create small dirty nuclear device, drive to
Washington, rid world of two problems at same time.

OK? Now get right to it.
