What's Fan Boy's definition of 'really old'? It can't be more than two or
three years old, surely, probably less (sorry, I can never put when stuff
happened into any temporal perspective).

And I have to say that I find the Total War games pretty hard as well.

You're right; "Shogun: Total War" isn't very old.  But then FanBoy's vice is
being up-to-the-minute - if it isn't brand new and rated very highly, he
just isn't interested.

Am I right ?

Haven't played them personally but I have heard this being said of them.

I think you just answered your own question. People don't seem to
particularly like the weird stuff. I'm not sure that's the entire
reason though; I personally think I don't get as many weird ideas
as I used to. However, it's probably a of combination of the two.

Possibly. It was the weird stuff that got me reading NerdBoy in the first
place. Maybe I'm the only one that likes it, or maybe I'm just weird. Or
both. Perhaps getting really drunk before writing a strip would help in the
weirdness factor ;-)
