How do I conver gif to ascii?

The title says it all. Is there some program that will work for a 386
with 8megs of RAM? I would like to be able to convert gifs to asci, so
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

And a program is available for use in DOS for which a 386 with 8m should be _more_ than adequate. It's called ascgif, and I'm sure can also be located with veronica, jughead, archie, and the whole gang down at the malt shop... <8-) Love, I have very little respect for any woman whom I cannot envision wielding a broadsword. Nor for any man whom I Chuckles can't imagine dancing in high heels...
