If you hate the cat or me then you have a problem, because you

 can't do anything about that.

It wasn't me, I always write as 'Eli Ganam'.

I wanna play too. This is a game, right?

Anyway, the name I keep coming up against (if anything I'm doing makes any
sense at all, which it probably doesn't) is Kwo-Long Lai ??

I expect I'm out to lunch on this, but hey, it's worth a shot. Is there a

No, Mr. P., not even close. I'm not Eli, Drawer of the Cat They Hate, and
I'm not Kwo-Long Lai. It really should be easy to guess who I am. Well,
not guess, it's pretty much conclusive if yer know where to look!

they hate your cat?

I have to do, use my real email address or something for you to find

Close.

I met a man upon the stair,
A little man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today.
Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

I wouldn't presume to try to improve on the artwork though.

So, this "Nobody" has challenged us to find out who he/she is. He/she
seems very confident that we will figure his/her name out, so it has to
be somebody well known to this group... and he/she says that we should
use the clues, but there are no clues, except for the name "Nobody" so I
would guess that it is some kind of synonym to that or a name with a
meaning that could be described as "being nobody"...
(Other than that I don't have a clue but maybe it will trigger something
in somebody else's brain...)

Hey! it's My Very Own Poem!
But the original was:

I met a cat upon the stair,
A little cat who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today.
Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Hey, no fair. Just as I've figured out how to read your other sig, you go
changing it! And to a portrait of Barney too. Oh my.

Noooooooo!!!!!!! It's _MUCH_ more obvious!!!!!!!

MORE CLUES FOR THE CLUELESS:

o No synonyms! It's so easy if you know something about newsposts/messages
(I hope this is still cryptic enough to not give it away completely).

o Yes, I have been a regular poster to alt.ascii-art.

o If someone doesn't get it, maybe I'll accidentally leave my signature
next time... that'll give it away! ;)

o I'm not any of the following:
     Eli Ganam
     spu...@aol.com
     llizard
     Hercules Gunter
     J. Melusky
     joris bellenger

o I haven't posted under my real name in a while.

o My name, written backwards, is N... (oops, that's *TOO* easy.)

The way I figure it is, if I'm willing to make a fool of myself, I might as
well be willing to do it more than once. So; I'm making another guess and
picking out of the crowd, one Jeremy Olson.

1. Jeremy is the only participant I've found from ici.net, and

2. Jeremy's web page's "About Myself" is under construction, and is
   essentially empty.

Alan

YESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You looked at the Path line didn't you? THOSE were
the clues!!!!!! The Path would say I'm from iCi, and if you looked further,
the NNTP-Posting-Host says who I am definitely if you look at it in one of
my msgs and one of the Nobody msgs: pmtn1ip2.

~ 2. Jeremy's web page's "About Myself" is under construction, and is

Good guess, but this wasn't a clue. I'm working on this page, so it hasn't
gone up yet...

Well, I wanted it to be a standing sheep but I wasn't completely happy
with my drawing. That's why added "beeeeehhh".
By the way it's not my new sig, it's... it's... I don't know really.
I just wasn't really myself I guess.

Actually it was me who replied to the "I am nobody" posting.
And I didn't do it because I thought that it was a great challenge, but
because I thought you were totally depressed and felt that you were not
important...
Well,,,, are you ???

While I'm at it, Jeremy Olson in anagram form is "ye nom jores". Given a
small allowance for Old English, some French, and his possible spelling
error, I think I've proved conclusively that if Jeremy is not "Nobody", he
is at the very minimum, Joris Bellenger ('jores' may, in fact, be spanish
for 'joris').

I hope this astonishing revelation doesn't shock too many people.
