Iris Development Corporation is looking for great examples of ascii art to
include in a new software package called "E-Mail Power Tools". E-Mail
Power Tools (EPT) will have several utilities to help any user make the
most of ascii text in their e-mail messages. One of the tools is a "drag
and drop" ascii clipart browser which makes it simple to include any image
in your e-mail. We hope to provide a rich, cataloged and indexed
collection of ascii art images so you will easily be able to find the art
you want, when you want it.

Please send us any images you have enjoyed, whether you created them or
not. If possible please also include the name and email address of the
original artist so that we can obtain permissions and give proper credit.
Whenever possible, the original artist will receive credit for his or her
work in the browser.

We need images in every category, but are especially interested in:

            Animals, Birthdays, Business, Computing
            Family Events, Holidays, Humor, Internet
            Invitations, Romance, Sports, Star Trek

We have already reviewed most of what is available in the major ascii art
collections on the internet (i.e. Scarecrow's AWESOME site and many
others). We are mostly interested in finding quality ascii art that is not
already included in these collections.

EPT will also include "BigFont", a powerful new graphical tool for making
large letters out of ordinary text (yes, BigFont was inspired by figlet).
BigFont is compatible with figlet fonts, and it has a WYSIWYG graphical
interface that makes it super-easy to use.

Finally, EPT will include a "Signature Construction Set", which will
provide a "drag and drop" interface to help you build great signatures
using a huge variety of signature templates. If you have a signature that
you think is particularly cool please send that to us, too!

Anyone who we feel makes a valuable contribution to the product will
receive a free copy of the software when it is finished. We will also be
looking for beta testers soon. EPT will be available for the Macintosh and
Windows platforms initially, and others may follow.

... because they've already copied those ones and now need more?  No
mention is made as to whether they've used these "major ascii art
collections on the internet" or not.
