REQUEST: Help with flaming sword

Hiya!
I'm trying to make the sword in my sig look like a flaming sword --
preferably with my name and address still incorporated. Here's what I
came up with:

Well, while I'm at it, I'm also looking into changing my sword
completely. I don't like the fact that, as a sig/divider, it isn't
screen-length. What do you think of these, and does anyone have any
artistic suggestions?
