The eyes can't really be made any shorter without changing the look, which means the head can't be any shorter either. The only way you'll lose 7 lines is by squashing the body, and that loses the outthrust of the chest and makes the head look a little too big. This is what I managed to do in 10 lines. I'm not too happy with it. It's like a bad forgery; it doesn't quite capture the feel of the original.
