I would like to share with everyone in this newsgroup the new discussion
list I created. It is the ASCII Art Discussion List! You can subscibe
by going to http://ascii_art.listbot.com . It is a discussion list,
which means if you send a message to asc...@listbot.com, the message
will go out to all the members of the group. I urge you to join! It is
a good way to keep in touch with other ascii art fans.

But this cartoon of Jonathon Oglesbee's got a bit mangled. It's one of my favourites of his cartoons so I decided to repost it here. __ _-~ ~-_ /___ ___\ / (O) (o) \ ___ ___ __,-~-~-,/ -..- \ / \ __..-~~ ~~-..__ .-~ `V-V-V `\ -v----v- \/ /.-~ ~-._ `\..___._ _~/ / </ ~ ~____/ V-V-V ---------------- ( My god, Harvey!) I try to send out a pic by someone else that I like every day (or when I get round to it). I steer away from the stuff that's ohn just about every web site and has been around for ages, and try instead to use pieces that are little known, but still great, or funny, or clever. There's other stuff on the daily message apart from ascii. If you want to know more about it, have a look at: http://www.xs4all.nl/~klr/motd.html To subscribe, just send a smily mail to flumpatquadrant.xs4all.nl, (you know what to do with the address) and mention that you want to be added to the motd list. :) the list isn't so big thaat I'm using a bot yet, so you can put what you like where you like in the message. 8-) -Hayley
