According to the following source JET LEE is going to be in the fourth Lethal Weapon film. Having read the scripts, I can say there is a character that puts a serious whupass on a certain Martin Riggs. If we are lucky as hell, Jet Lee will be this character. And if this is true and we are extremely lucky, then Jet Lee will kill all the main characters in the opening 15 minutes, and then try to leave the United States with the entire Law Enforcement communtiy out to stop him, to make him pay for the deaths of Riggs and Murtaugh, all the assorted family members, and Joe Pesci's character. Whom Jet would stomp into some sort of primordial sludge. Ummm, wait, that would be a Lethal Weapon movie, but damn if it wouldn't feature Jet Lee doing cool Jet Lee stuff!!! Here's the original informer's(spyname- Gypo Nolan) bit... Richard Donner and the folks at Warner Brothers have done their homework at last. Following the success achieved by John Woo, Jackie Chan, and other members of the "Orient Express" including Chow Yun Fat, LETHAL WEAPON 4 producers have nabbed Asian superstar Jet Lee! And from http://www.darkhorizons.com/news.htm Lethal Weapon 4: A scooper claims to have seen the script and while the film series previous baddies included South African countefeiters & corrupt cops, the bad guys in this film will apparently be the Asian Mafia (The Triads will be doing some slicing & dicing of Gibson's hair). - that would be cool if true.
