I am working on a freeware program which will display text on a PC
which has a VGA card with several different effects using
shimmering bands of color (i.e. the "copper bars" demo
effect).  I'd like to include as an example a nice picture
which is drawn with the IBM-PC graphics character set.

Does anyone have any good examples in their archives? Can
you point me in the direction of any public collections
of this sort of art?
