Hey folks.  Below is a picture I found of a volleyball on the net.  Only
problem is its too big for what I wanted to do with it.  I was wondering
if someone could shrink it, maybe half the size or so and email it back

Now that was cool to look at!

I had the full first post on screen, so when I pressed "next post" it
simply overlayed the second one.

With the ball being in exactly the same place the visual effect I got
was just like someone missadjusting the focus on a camera! Animation!

Hm, it considers only the characters' grayscales, not their pattern,
when importing a bitmap.  Oh, well!  (ASCII Editor produced only the
Xs, the Ms, and the pounds.  The rest was inserted by myself.)

Hm, not a bad idea, actually--posting an animation of n frames as n
posts, with each next frame following up the previous one.

I take it most newsreaders display posts in a tree structure these
days, don't they?  I'm merely asking because I'm enough of a veteran
(=fossil) to still remember "nn."

I'll have to try the above idea with a simple animation as soon as am
finished with what I'm avoiding working on right now.
