G'Day from Downunder. I have a friend in the USA who's having a birthday soon. I'd like to send her a happy bithday message with a difference. I was thinking about something like some balloons and a big 'Happy Birthday'. Any ideas? Please either post to the group or e-mail me direct. Thanking you in advance. BTW I'm the least artistic person on the planet, so any pictures would be better than what I've come up with. Dave.
I would be forever grateful for one who would do some ASCII-art for the word Destiny... It is quite important! Thanx!
I'm trying to draw a picture, but I can't draw a gradually sloped line. I know I saw it in a tutorial somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

Never mind, I managed, without it, thanx anyways! Geech wrote: > > I'm trying to draw a picture, but I can't draw a gradually sloped line. I know I saw it in a > tutorial somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.
Thanx for your help, I think I managed, the sloped line is in my picture of a boat. Ahh.. this was one of the first ascii pictures I did - a parabola. It
also serves as a collection of slopes, just pick one of the lines.

Of course there are lots of variations depending on what you want the
line to look like (thickness, curvature) but the principle is the same.
