How the blazes do you abort this program ASC2PIC.EXE once it starts 
to run?  

I tried ctrl-c, ctrl-break, ctrl-pause, pause, ESC and none would
cause termination and exit. :-(

The PAUSE key did cause it to pause but the next key press set it
going again!  Bleah!

You don`t :o)

I didn`t put an abort function in ... I guess it must have slipped my
memory!

The only way to quit is to reboot, or to use Ctrl+Alt+Del in Win95/98 which
allows you to close programs the nasty way (ie force them to close)
