animation

Hopefully this is the correct newgroup but anyways....
I have file.vt ascii animation files that look great when I run  them on my 
XTerminal.  Now I want to convert them to run on a PC with the TYPE command.  
Does anyoneknow how I can do this???   My problem seems to be getting the 
cursor to acknowledge the control character that sends it to the top left 
corner of the screen.  Right now the program just scrolls and scrolls and the 
effect of the animation is lost.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

however on the sigzag home page they have animated ones(train /eyes etc) i
have copied the complete library but dont seem to be able to find that
function or have i missed something?
