I've noticed that some other people at the university here have nice ansi
animations in their vax fingerplans.  I have one I want to use for mine (took
me ages writing it!).  It works well when I type it to the screen on the vax
with just a straight '$type' command.  But when I rename the file to
'Finger.pln' and finger myself the screen fills with wierd characters and beeps
alot.  

I've asked the other people how they did it, but they all seem to have got
someone else to do it for them!

How do you do it?

Please someone tell me how to get it to work!!
