sig.file... Too big?

It can!

It is generally considered bad behaviour to use more than four or five lines.

You may not be aware of it, but actually there are someone who pays for 
every single bit transmitted on the net..

And a sig file is meant to be seen often... It can be ratgher irritating
to skip through vast amounts of mumbo-jumbo.

  Asking this bunch of eightballs if a sig can be too long is like putting
Orson Wells in charge or the Twinkies. :-)

  Just kidding.  Actually, on this group, most sigs are OK, especially if 
you change them from time to time.  On most other groups, the net guideline 
of 4 to 6 lines would be good to follow.  Email is another matter, you're 
only sending it to one person's account.
