It's another UK thing. The Wombles of Wimbledon are little characters that
make use of the things they find (on Wimbledon common) - things that the
everyday folk leave behind. :o)

I don't have any URLs/pics to show you, but just to warn you that the
Wombles are having a bit of a re-launch with little McDonald's toys and the
like... which probably means there will be a few Womble requests.

The reason I ask is that someone (a friend of mine) has decided to call me a
womble. I am still trying to figure out why, but in the mean time I want to
send him a Womble pic and someone suggested that I ask in here for one, cos
we both think ascii pics look better and are more email friendly (especially
in a building where a good percentage use linux and dont like HTML emails.
