If you do then please let me know > -- > Thanx Hi, You don't say which chat client you are using and I'm not sure if these commands will work anywhere except in mIRC but here is what I use: /play c:\mirc\art\filenamt.txt Of course, you will need to adjust the directory path to your needs. This can be typed directly into the edit box (where you normally type) or can be incorporated into a popup this way: Art:/play c:\mirc\art\filename.txt If the collection of art that you wish to display is more than one or two pieces, and would take up tons of room as individual popups, you can add this line to your aliases: /F4 /play $dir C:\mirc\art\*.txt With this alias, all you need to do is to hit the F4 key and you will get a small explorer type window to select your art from. Simply navigate to the file you want to display and double click on the filename and it will be displayed in the window. Do not use oversize art ... either height or width. It loses its effectiveness if the other people have to scroll to see the entire picture. If you *borrow* art from these good folks here in this newsgroup or from their websites (as I do on a regular basis) PLEASE..... leave their signatures or initials intact with the art. These folks are true artists (contrary to the opinions expressed in an earlier thread) and as such, deserve to be recognized for their work. After all, you wouldn't hang a Van Gogh and obscure his signature! Just a quick note of thanks from a long time *lurker* to this NG. You folks are probably the most helpful and polite assemblage of individuals I have seen gathered under one roof. Thanks again to all of you for sharing your work. flubber
