http://groups.google.co.uk is also still in the old
format.

Trouble is, you can't reply to existing messages any
more, but posting new ones seems to be OK (if you
don't mind waiting 8+ hours for it to propagate).

And with the newer version you can't thread.  Days ago I was 
trying to find all of the ascii art I have done that was from my early
days.  The first two days was with the old deja and I was making good
progress.  The last two days was with the new one.  The inability to
see the threading to know how many times I had posted in a thread made
life very slow.

I also noticed a few cases were "view original format" looked fine but
in the regular link ascii art was fscked up.

Is there a way to link directly to US version so I won't be redirected
to regional version? I want to check that stuff out.

Get or use a US based IP address.  Maybe from a free shell account or
an IP masking site.
