First attempt at art: scales

After months of stealing^H^H^H borrowing ascii-art from this NG, I've made
a *VERY* crude attempt at the scales of justice for a .sig I've done for a
friend.  Can someone give me pointers on making it actually look decent?

I think that it looks great!
Here is one that I did some time ago in 4 lines for a friend:
