PEZ is a company in the US, it's basically a tall, thin candy
dispenser with a plastic head on it. If you tilt the head back, the
mouth opens and a piece of candy comes out and you can eat it. They
have a PEZ head for pretty much everything from Elvis Presley to R2-D2
and beyond.

Sweeping generalizations always have exceptions, even this one.

     And as well as in here, they are great collectables. Some of the old ones
go for a lot of money.

Oh damn! Is that all? And here was me thinking it was some sort of dildo.

Aisa I just found out that this head was originally done by Colin Douthwaite
(May he rest in peace)
( see http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/7373/awards.htm )
please remember to state that when posting a PEZhead .. I accidently credited
you for the original in the PEZhead archive.

Actually, CeeJay, Colin used Joan's selfportrait to make the flag to
which you referred.

Martin Atkins wrote this fitting tribute to Joan and illustrated it with
Joan's crownless selfportrait:

              o
           o^/|\^o
        o_^|\/*\/|^_o
       o\*`'.\|/.'`*/o
        \\\\\\|//////
         {><><@><><}
       {{{{ }}}}}}}}} First one of all is Joan G Stark,
      }}}}} _   _ {{{{{   Undisputed queen of ascii art.
      }}}}  6   6  {{{{   Her pictures are absolutely brill,
     {{{{{ ^ }}}}} her whole gallery shows such skill.
    {{{{{{\  -=-  /}}}}}}
    {{{{{{{;.___.;}}}}}}}
     {{{{{{{)   (}}}}}}}'
      `""'"':   :'"'"'`
    jgs      `@`

I believe that it was Joan herself who drew the crown, which was added
on a subsequent post. I suspect that Colin would be horrified to be
credited with her drawing and would have fired off an immediate denial.

(And speaking of Joan, where are you, Majestic One? I miss your postings
that add the now missing element of sanity here in aaa.)

NOTE: I rarely pick up my mail from the idirect address. If you
are e-mailing and hit the reply button, add an "e" to "freent";
its absense is to stop the torment of automatic mailers.

[story of the jgs portrait]

I belive its typical with ascii-art .. someone draws something and 10 people
make rediddles and additions.

I will once again correctly the sig ...

BTW I someone would look the PEZ's through and let me know if they know the sig
of the person who made them if its not aldready listed , and give some idea for
funny subtitles

They are at http://ceejay.marmoset.net which is important to know because i have
just been informed that my virtual rerouting domain will cease to exist for a
month or so.. this also means that mail to my address above will not work - use
ceejay(at)mail.dk instead

I can be sane upon request.
