REQ: The Scream (Edvard Munch)

Some time ago I saw an ascii version; it was small, only a dozen lines 
or so high but it really captured the essence of the drama in the
painting. If anyone has a copy of this could they post it pls?

Back when I drew the Red Baron cartoons I made one:

But it's heavily altered, with the cartoon's protagonist inserted in-
stead of the bald character of Munch's painting.

And so, Mister Cool....when are we gonna see more of Red Baron??  I
personally though they were pretty good cartoons.  Even put that little
Red Baron Ascii Art thingy at the bottom of my home page.

Hmm, good question, why did I stop?  It wasn't because I had run out
of ideas.  I had enough at that point to continue the storyline for
at least three months, or so.  And I would have had new ones at the
time.

- The garbage can, talking in morse code, sitting in the passenger
  seat like those Navidroids in Star Wars.

- Lance corporal H., dispatch runner.

- The man-eating giant rodent.

- The Kaiser.  ("What is thy bidding, mein Herr."  "Don't worry, he's
  cool about seeing him with no clothes on.  Just don't say anything
  if he claims he's invented the telephone.")

And I was just about to move into Keenspace with them, too.


But they were a lot of work to do, which I didn't notice while I was
still in the flow of things.  Brilliant minds are, as a rule, also
fairly unreliable when it comes to the day-to-day grind.  That's why
the United Feature Syndicate contractually requires of its artists to
be at least seven weeks ahead with their daily cartoons.  I did mine
at the same day that I posted them.

If I ever start them up again I'll probably hoard them for a few weeks
before I release them, one at a day.  But I'll do one tomorrow--the
one that I had planned at the time to be the next one anyway.


"Fat Lady exploding?"  That quotation isn't even my idea.  I found it
in news:alt.humor.best-of-usenet one day.  It's more to do with how
the idea started out than with how it's supposed to end.

I can understand, they were good cartoons, and even SCII art is no picnic.

hehe, I was just referring to it taken in the implied context, i.e. the
end of the series, etc.
