Can someone tell me the name, and possibly where i could find, a good gif-to-ascii converter? Thanks

There is a lot of programs to convert pictures into Ascii... What would be useful is a version of Windows notepad that ran as a transparent application that could be used over a GIF to follow the GIF's outlines when we type our favorite characters: *#!~|\/<>o0= etc. Has anybody produced such a product? Donald
