ANIMs in colour

I like cjr/miK's colour javascript anims (posted on CJRandall's site)
alot. Both ideas behind them and technical implementation. Very fresh
and interesting. I've done some simple colour versions of my old
soldier:
 
'method-3' (pop-up):

(that is almost a replication of the corresponding cjr's anim with
different ascii-pictures)

'method-4' (frames):
http://www.angelfire.com/ab/ascii/military.html
(this one looks a bit different)

I hope I didn't add mistakes while re-designing (I have almost zero
experience with html/javascripts). At least it works on NN 3.0 Gold. I
would also do something with 'method-5', but it doesn't work with this
browser, and unfortunately I haven't got a newer one at the moment.

yep .. this worked too ... altho' the code isn't very robust ...
the Ie4 browser gets its history mashed ... i guess i should try to
fix that ... sometime
i've also found a way to have the 'frameset' and the 'frame contents'
all in one file ... so when/if i re-visit this project i'll include
that too
i just don't have time at the moment (i wish i didn't have to work
for a living)

you did well ... apart from myself, miK and Meph, you are the only
other to have tried =)

i'm also pleased that method-3.2 works on your Netscape too
the version i have is NN 3.0C for win95

yep ... method-5 only works on Ns4/Ie4 browsers due to use of CSS
and also may not run on Mac versions either ... but i'm not sure

i liked all your other anims too ... especially the caterpillar one
