Of course, this gets REAL annoying after a while. The only usefull way to use
these graphics is if you are in a private room and scrolling with other people.
The odds of this guy going into chat rooms and disturbing every single room he
goes into are 60% good.

Actually, ANYFONT will clean up most ASCII graphics *fairly* well (not
perfectly) to be viewed in AOL chat rooms and emails. I forget where I got it
though . . . and it is a Windows application, at least the version I have, I
don't know if a Mac version was made.

Here's an afterthought, I suppose if enough people on AOL got together with
PowerTools and went into a private room, they could have a nice little
graphical chat with everyone showing their new stuff since PowerTools can
change the chat font to a fixed-width font.

does anyone have a program for (I know it's kinda lame) macintosh than will let
me do these cool Ascii pic's in chatrooms?       ive never been able to find
one for crapintosh...

Dude, first of all there's nothing lame about using a Mac. They have their
strengths and their weaknesses just like every other platform on the
planet. 

Second of all, if you wanna paste the ascii art into into the chatroom
simply copy the original, paste it into the scrapbook, and when you wanna
annoy people in the chatfoorm copy it from the scrapbook and paste it into
the input line in your chat program. There are other ways using Macro
packages but I suspect that actually installing a program might be a bit
too difficult for you. If it's not then let me know and I'll be happy to
suggest a couple macro packages that you can use.
