I must be a genuois ;), because I was able to figure out to rename Colin's
binary GIF to ASC to view it. This is why:

This AOL newsreader must not allow text to be viewed in the same message
that the binary is posted in. If Colin said what to do in the binary posting, I
missed it completely. This happened to me with Sprout (making me sound like an
imbicile), and again with the Malenude.gif.
Could I ask that if people are going to post a binary that they follow it
up with a comment, or preface it with one? You know, like [0/1] [1/1] the way
it's posted in binary ngs? I don't wanna be a pain, but I'm not getting some of
the whole posts here. Am I the only one with this problem?
     Thanks for letting me rant.

Wow! Allowing binary postings in aaa as a matter of policy! And there had been
wars on html postings! ;-))

Kidding aside, sooner or later, all postings will look like graphical
webpages, first using html, then using gif, jpeg, etc.
