Boxes?

If you're looking for some cool ascii-art...... look someplace else.

Hi.  I am new to ascii art.  I am not an artist, anyway, by any means,
but I like to try!?

Respect to -most- of the work I have seen here.  This is a fantastic NG.
I look forward to seeing what new stuff people have drawn more than
checking e-mails, etc. which is 90% junk, anyway.

I try to draw stuff, but it never turns out right.  Hope that someone
out there sympathises, 'cos you lot seem too damn brilliant.

Small art seems the hardest to draw, and doesn't look quite right (what
do you expect with so few characters, and so much to draw), but you have
to have respect for someone who can convey a picture in three lines of
ascii.

Anyway, I thought I'd post some of the pictures I draw [/scribble].  I
know they're not good, but if someone diddles them, I can only hope to
learn from my rather clumsy mistakes (: .

A Horse?  I wish.  Personally, I can't stand the way dots and lines
don't mix.  If the picture was all in dots, or all in lines, I think I'd
be happy, but as it is, it looks like it's clumsily stuck together.  'Ne
mind pas', as they say in Franglaise.  Could somebody put a Jockey on
it?  "I wrote this 'cos I hate one word on a line"

p.s.  If you can't see what this picture is, um, er.. no, neither can I.
It was supposed to be a counter at a help-yourself kind of restaurant,
with a plastic holder for knives, forks, etc. and a row of bars which
the tray would slide down.  Top left should represent a glass cabinet,
with lots of food in it.

Um, it turned out wrong....  I guess you're beginning to expect that
from me.

Now go find some better art to appreciate.

I think this one's a bit busy for me.. can't see anything much at all in the

I think it looks like a parking lot next to the drive-thru [sic] window of a
fast-food joint... :)
