It's interesting that your car is 'jumping'.  That's because the
distance between the horizon and the lower horisontal part of the arch
is not increasing gradually which would be on a flat road.

Thanks for posting a couple of frames, Valery. I had assumed that I
wouldn't be able to see the animation because I am still hanging on to
my ancient Netscape3. Nice idea though for the animation.

Maybe there are speed bumps that cause the car to jump just before the
archway?

It could wreak havoc if the plates and glasses weren't secured properly
in a trailer.
