Does anyone have phantasmagoria or any sierra game and is

willing to send me the file(s) for the boot disk maker?

I need it!! Please send it ziped and uuencoded. TIA/T.P.

1) At DOS prompt, type format A: (or whatever the name of your drive is)
   Answer all its little questions.
2) After formating, go to your hard drive's root directory (eg. C:\)
   and a.) type copy autoexec.bat A:\

       c.) type copy command.com A:\
3) type SYS A:
4) After all that, go to the disk and a.) edit autoexec.bat to your 
						special needs,
				      b.)edit config.sys " ".

It would be good to also include format.com and attrib.exe to the sys
disk 'just in case'.  However,  this is if you wish to keep the disk
as an emergency boot disk  <aka,  not just for clean boot reasons> and
it would be good to write-protect the diskette.

To those of you unfamiliar with these commands,  don't bother adding
format.com.  It can cause serious loss of data if you don't know what
you're doing and if you don't know the appropiate situations to use
that file.

That would copy all the files except your config.sys and autoexec.bat.
This way it tells the computer that you're making a bootdisk.

My computer will not boot up to the  A drive... it goes to C....  I
was trying to boot up with a boot disk so my husband could play Full
Throttleas he keeps getting kicked out at various places with our
regular boot and our "doom" type boot.  Cusutomer support at Full
Thottle says I have to contact Conner, the hard drive people, and tell
them I am trying to run an overlay and which one and how to use with a
boot disk.  I found Conner on the internet and wrote to them several
days ago but no response.  Do you have any idea what I need and/or how
to get it or what to do???  Thanks

There is probably a setting in your computer's setup utility that prevents booting from 
the A drive. This is a security measure that prevents people from bypassing software 
based security programs by using a boot disk. When you boot your computer, look for 
something on the screen that tells you how to get into your system setup. Once you are 
in, look for a setting that says something like "boot sequence" or "disable floppy boot" 
Change the boot sequence to "A then C" or "Check A drive". The wording might be 
different, but the idea is the same. If you have a security menu in your setup, try 
looking there for this setting.
