The program is called Figlet and it is .. tres Cool :)
Several sites have it - I use www.surfplaza.com/figlet/ but a search on
dmoz.org or google.com should list plenty for you to choose from.
You can also use it on your own computer by downloading a program with it
included.
I know of two :

Figwin - for this task only
and Jave by Markus who just announced this program here in this group a few
weeks ago.
Jave is a allround ascii editor that can do much more .. and is it easy for
total beginners to do something that works and looks fine.
For perfect detail and really spectacular images I still prefer Textpad (a
texteditor) because it gives me total control and works in a way I am
acustomed to ( Just like a text editor ) - While Jave works like a Imageeditor
(which is why it's so easy to use).

The figwin site seems to be down ,but Jave can be found (when the server is
not acting up) at www.jave.de

hi christian!
thank you very much for your nice answer.
Regards Ben
