Hi there,

I have a whole lot of letters written in ASCII but how do i paste them
together? Do u have to use a special editor? If so what kind?

eg I want to write NAM but how? I have these letters
 ______
Y _ \Y
| | |
| | |
| | |
l___| l
' `---'
 _______
Y _ Y
| l |
| _ |
| | |
l___| |
    `---'
 ___ ___
Y Y Y
| |
| \_/ |
| | |
l___| l
    `---'
Now how will I stick them side by side?

Also.. How do people make those cool ASCII drawings? Is there some special
program that they use? Is there some special editor? Can anyone help me out
here..

Thanks for your help :-))

There's a thing called an figlet ascii-font program
writes text out cii fonts. Or.some text editors
will move columns of text. Or, you end up using
cut and paste (or copying by hand) line by line...
it's best to have a reference vertical column e.g.
add a column of colons if the object to the left
had no clear vertical edge.

No, it's just simple... There are two ways
 1) The 'easy' way:
Just redraw the stuff side by side, you've an simple ascii-editor
        and a simple text...
 2) The 'Windoze' way
Just cut and paste (I don't like this way)

 Just like this....
   ______ ___ ___
  | _ \ _______| Y |
  | I Y _ Y |
  | | | I | \_/ |
  | | | _ | | |
  |___l | | | l___|
      `---l___| l---'
              `---'
Take an simple editor and redraw them (I added some minor changes too)

Just every editor works great. I use Aurora, Boxer, Edit or the internal
editor of Crosspoint (my mailer-software). What do you need more than a
screen, a keyboard and an idea?
