I was planning on doing these in the same style as the Star Trek and
Atari logo's[0] I did a while back (and I still might), but I am just too
tired tonight. Just for the record I have never been a fan of any of
these. I like the idea of Batman and love the latest movie but for
the most part I just don't like superheros. I own a whole lot of
comics but very few of them have people in spandex.

I was heavy into the super heroes initially, but got bored after a while. What comics do you read? drax

Sandman[0], The crow[1], the Maxx[2], Johnny the HM, in fact most SLG books are good ones (especially the one off books), almost anything by Miller or Moore or Kieth since they always challange your mind. The kind of books that wouldn't work without the art but the story's aren't simple. I loved Sin City the movie. Best adaptation I ever saw. The books don't rank as high in my mind though. [0] sad that it isn't even in print and it still is the first one on the list [1] ditto [2] getting the point? -- .-')) fauxascii.com ('-. | It's a damn poor mind that ' ..- .:" ) ( ":. -.. Yeah, unfortunatly the good stuff doesn't seem to sell very well. I've only managed to watch bits of sin city, I need to make time to sit and watch the whole thing. Even if only to see Carla Gugino. drax

What >>> comics do you read? > >> Sandman[0], The crow[1], the Maxx[2], > > Love The Maxx ;) Still have 2 untouched glow-in-the-dark Maxx 1/2's I had a friend who didn't get The Maxx. He found it odd because he was in the buisness of selling comic books and all of the customers that he really respected the opinions of loved it but he couldn't figure out why. I asked him if he had all of he issues that had come out at that point (someplace near 14) and he said yes. I told him to go home and read them all from cover to cover, including the letters sections. The next time I saw him he said he was completely into it now and that he did get it. I understood why he didn't get it at first. You couldn't read one book and know what was going on. I hadn't read comics for a few years as they had gone in the toilet with bad stories and art work that had no soul at all. Then a friend of mine came up with Darker Image #1 (there was never a #2) and showed me the pic of Julie Witers with her bell bottems, tube top and pot belly. That was like nothing had ever seen in comics for some time. So I read it and had no idea what was going on. I was hooked. Finally a comic with new art work, a complex storyline that was not about taking down the bad guy. I knew it couldn't last forever, none of my favorits do, but I was happy with it while it lasted. > Pitt was awesome also.
