Paint Shop Pro can convert many different file formats from one to 
another, although I don't remember if ASCII is one of them (must be, it's 
pretty common, isn't it?  Okay, neophyte here.  Sorry.)  It's a very good 
shareware package that you can download from ZDNET on Prodigy.  Not sure
