After reading about ascii art a viewing it for a hwile I decided to give
it a try. In half-an hour I had written/made two pictures first I made a
picture of my dogs head in my sig file then this screwdriver.

I just rounded off a few edges, and used the ' and . characters which I use
a lot too do diagonals that come under | characters, because slashes don`t
really fit.
Most of all, keep going... Practice makes perfect, as they say. As you keep
making pictures you will get used to exactly what sort of shapes certain
character combos make, and creating complex shapes will get easier.
