What kind of output quality are you looking for? If you want something
that looks nice on a computer screen you'll most likely have to make it
yourself.

One way that I have found that works well is to take a plastic bag (or
OH film) and copy your picture to that. Then tape the bag to your screen
(yes! really!) and draw the picture in ascii by following the lines of
your drawing. Then, when you have the basic shapes of things, you remove
the bag and finish it off by hand. This takes a little bit of practice,
but it's one of the best methods (and certainly better than any
"gif-to-ascii converters").

im not sure of an exact address, but try www.filez.com and
www.download.com.  most of the time these programs to not do good and
you have to do a lot of editing, though.

Ive attached (hope it works) "gifa.exe".

Its a nice program that converts gif to ascii.

Possibility to change size, contrast, + + +
